For planned, non-emergency care

Practical support for every stage of a medical journey.

China MedTrip provides non-clinical coordination for international patients seeking planned care in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Chengdu. Choose the support you need, from preparing records to navigating a hospital visit.

How we help

One point of contact, without overstepping clinical care.

A medical journey often involves more than one appointment. We help patients and families prepare information, understand practical next steps, and arrange local support. Doctors and hospitals remain responsible for all diagnosis, treatment and clinical decisions.

01 / PREPARE

Medical record organisation and translation

Bring together the documents a hospital may need to understand your history before an appointment is requested.

  • Organise records, reports and imaging summaries
  • Translate agreed non-emergency documents
  • Create a clear chronology of relevant care
02 / PLAN

Hospital and department guidance

Understand practical options based on your stated needs, preferred city and availability.

  • Help identify relevant hospital departments
  • Explain public, international and private care pathways
  • Prepare questions for the hospital or clinician
03 / ARRANGE

Appointment coordination

We actively manage the practical steps of an appointment request for a planned hospital visit.

  • Prepare and submit the appointment request and practical supporting information
  • Follow up with the relevant hospital contact and keep the patient informed
  • Where information and availability allow, share one or two potential doctor options with objective public profiles for patient consideration
  • Organise registration, arrival information and a visit-day checklist after hospital feedback
04 / NAVIGATE

In-person hospital accompaniment

Arrange bilingual, practical support for an agreed hospital visit.

  • Hospital navigation, registration and payment-flow support
  • Communication assistance during planned visits
  • Help keep the day organised for the patient and family
05 / STAY

Travel and stay coordination

Make travel logistics fit around the care plan, rather than the other way around.

  • Airport transfer planning
  • Hospital-area hotel options and local transport guidance
  • Schedules for accompanying family members
06 / FOLLOW UP

Post-visit coordination

Leave with organised information for the next conversation with your care team at home.

  • Organise reports, invoices and agreed documents
  • Translate key non-emergency documents when arranged
  • Support practical follow-up communication
07 / PAYMENT PREPARE

Insurance and payment preparation

Prepare the practical information to ask your insurer and hospital about payment arrangements for a planned visit.

  • Organise non-clinical information for an insurer enquiry
  • Explain direct billing, reimbursement and patient-payment questions to confirm
  • Keep hospital, travel and coordination costs clearly separate

Important service boundary

We actively coordinate appointment requests. We do not diagnose, prescribe, recommend treatment or replace your clinician.

We prepare, submit and follow up on the practical appointment request. Appointment availability, patient acceptance, final doctor assignment and the specific consultation date and time remain subject to the hospital's confirmation. Hospital fees, medical decisions and treatment outcomes are determined by licensed healthcare professionals and medical institutions.
